Ferroshade by Ricky Richards is a commercial-grade shadecloth engineered for demanding applications. With a 3.8m width and 380gsm fabric weight, it’s designed for high-strength use in both residential and commercial environments. Whether used for custom made shade sails, tension structures, truck tarps, pool covers, or privacy screens, this heavy-duty cloth offers approximately 85% UV protection thanks to its UV-stabilised HDPE monofilament construction.
Ferroshade undergoes a heat-set stentering process to enhance dimensional stability and reduce shrinkage, making it easier to handle during installation. Backed by a 15-year manufacturer’s warranty against UV degradation (conditions apply), it’s an ideal choice where durability and maximum sun protection are key.
Available by the metre or in full 50m rolls, Ferroshade is suitable for applications including pergolas, horticultural shelters, sandpit covers, and caravan awnings.
