This Page is Designed to Help You Measure a 6 Sided Shade Sail of Any Shape.
Why choose a 6 sided shade sail? Adding a 6th corner to what a lot of folks would do a 5 sided shape is smart. It means less movement on the side that has the 3 connections.
A 6 sided custom made shade sail is probably the most common type of installation for a commercial shade sail installation company.
A SIX Sided Shade Sail Requires 13 Measurements in Total.
Remember we measure from FIXING POINT TO FIXING POINT (eye to eye). Measuring from our connection points means you don’t have to guess how big the shade sail should be made. We will calculate the deductions for turnbuckles, shackles, stretch in material, and final tension so you can get it super tight!
NOTE: It is important to measure each point in a clock-wise direction.
